Main activities:
Perspective technological studies on Energy technologies. Characterisation of the present technologies (Technology Assessment) and devising future technological trends (Technology Foresight).


WP leader in the Thematic Network (funded by the CIP Programme) “ICT-21-EE”. The project (2008-2010) aims at identifying best practices in the field of “ICT for Energy Efficiency”. The leaded WP involves ICT applications on Intelligent Transport Systems. In the framework of this project is under developing a general methodology useful for performing Technology Foresight exercises to identify the technologies more promising for raising Energy Efficiency on several fields (transports, buildings, industry…). A pilot questionnaire for the specific case of “ICT for EE in Transports” is going to be distributed in order to improve the methodology.
