Halid HRASNICA

Dr. Halid Hrasnica is Programme Manager at Eurescom, responsible for projects on future telecommunications networks. He works for the EU projects 4NEM, which supports the NEM Technology Platform, Panlab (Pan-European Federation of Testbeds), and he is coordinator of AIM project, dedicated to the area of ICT for Environmental Management and Energy Efficiency.

Dr. Hrasnica graduated in 1993 in electrical engineering at the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

From 1993 to 1995 he was working in Energoinvest Communications in Sarajevo as developing software engineer for the telephone exchange systems.

In 1995 he joined the Chair for Telecommunications at Dresden University of Technology, Germany, where he received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and information technology in May 2004.

In February 2006, he joined Eurescom.
